As an entrepreneur and visionary, Jason realized that through combining the best hardware components with the most cutting edge and reliable operating system on the market, that he could develop and create an enterprise class storage solution that will rival the top vendors in the 19 billion dollar a year market. Jason has an engineering mindset that allows him to know what technology and is required from many various viewpoints. When Jason is not spending his time compiling code, he enjoys riding his Harley through the mountains of Utah, and he is an avid guitarist.
James Nicols
VP Operations
With more than ten years of combined legal & business experience James is a shrewd deal-maker, a thoughtful subordinate & a good supervisor. He’s a big-picture manager with primary responsibility for the design & execution of our business plan. James’ talents include communication, negotiation, delegation & motivation. James earned his BA from BYU and his JD from the University of Utah. After being admitted to the Utah Bar, James practiced law privately in Salt Lake and Davis counties representing dozens of clients in business, domestic and government matters. James is a registered Lobbyist for the State of Utah and has served as Chairman of the Standing Ethics Committee for the Davis County Republican Party. James is a dedicated family man who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that Utah allows.
Aaron Vaughn
Director of Sales and Marketing
As the Director of Sales and Marketing, Aaron brings over 15 years of direct and indirect selling experience to ArcStorage. Aaron did his studies at Weber State University. Working for companies such as America Online and Dell Computer, Inc. as well as, working for some of the largest Value Added Reseller companies in the world; Aaron brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and depth to our sales organization. Living in Utah allows Aaron to spend his time fishing in the various rivers and lakes, and camping with his family.
